The Latest in Skincare Innovation... from Fujifilm
Fujifilm is proving to be a leader in innovation, a fact that has led them to thrive whilst their rival Kodak has failed. Their latest example of how companies should think creatively with their existing capabilities is the launch of Astalift, an anti-aging face cream.
What has face cream go to do with camera film?! Well, a lot it turns out as they both use the same ingredients - antioxidants and collagen. Fujifilm realised that as leaders in film technology they also had the research and intellectual capability to develop industry leading skincare and the result is Astalift. Launched in the UK in April, it costs £26 and with the European skincare industry predicted to reach $9bill in 2014 it could prove a very lucrative move for Fujifilm.
